Decommissioned 23 Jan 1943.


Once recognized the state of belligerence between Brazil and the Axis countries, the Torpedo boat Parahyba remained as part of defense of access to the Port of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) until January 23, 1943, when the Navy Arsenal realized that the torpedo boat was not in conditions to operate because of her obsolescence.
