Commissioned 30/May/40 U-123 a IX-B type sank 42 ships with a total of 219,924 tons, 1 auxiliar warship with 3,209 tons, 1 warship with 683 tons and damaged 5 ships with 39,584 tons and 1 warship with 13,984 tons.


Taken out of service at LorientFrance 17 Jun 1944. Scuttled there 19 Aug 1944. Surrendered toFrance in 1945 and became the French submarine Blaison. Stricken 18 Aug 1959 as Q165.
