Tuesday, 14th July 42

Convoy L.S. 11 LAGOS FREETOWN arrived Freetown, escorted by WOODRUFF and ARMERIA.


Monday, 27th July

SNOWDROP left Freetown, escorting RAPIDOL; BURDOCK and ARMERIA detached from S.L. 117 Sierra Leone to Liverpool  to escort ABBEYDALE.


Thursday, 6th August

ARMERIA escorting R.F.A. ABBEYDALE met Fleet Units. ABBEYDALE commenced oiling escorts.


Thursday, 20th August

BURDOCK and ARMERIA escorting R.F.A. ABBEYDALE sailed from Gibraltar to rendezvous with QUEEN ELIZABETH.

Armeria arrived Freetown


Friday, 18th September

S.T. 36 Freetown to Sekondi-Takoradi   (7 ships) escorted by WOODRUFF, ARMERIA, and CROCUS sailed from Freetown.


Wednesday, 23rd September

WOODRUFF and ARMERIA from O.S.S. 39 Freetown southward, joined CORINTHIAN.


Saturday, 26th September

PARTRIDGE and ARMERIA arrived Freetown.


Sunday, 27th September

PARTRIDGE and ARMERIA sailed from Freetown escorting to the north.


Friday, 16th October

ARMERIA arrived Bathurst from Gibraltar.


Monday, 19th October

ARMERIA parted company with BRIDGEWATER and returned to Freetown.


Friday, 30th October

ARMERIA and CYCLAMEN sailed from Freetown escorting GUARDIAN to the North.


Sunday, 8th November

H.M.S. ARMERIA and H.M.S. CYCLAMEN arrived Gibraltar with GUARDIAN.


Saturday, 22nd November

H.M.S. ARMERIA and H.M.S. CYCLAMEN left Gibraltar for Freetown.


Thursday, 26th November

H.M.S. CYCLAMEN left H.M.S. ARMERIA and proceeded to join LADY DENNISON PENDER.


Saturday, 28th November

H.M.S. ARMERIA arrived Bathurst. In the same day H.M.S. ARMERIA sailed Bathurst to rendezvous with H.M.S. BRIDGEWATER and convoy.


Monday, 30th November 42

H.M.S. ARMERIA joined convoy FTT.3 and H.M.S. BRIDGEWATER proceeded to search for survivors of S.S. POLYDORUS.


Monday, 7th December

H.M.S. ARMERIA arrived Freetown from Bathurst.


Monday, 14th December

H.M. Ships PHOEBE, BRIDGEWATER, and ARMERIA sailed from Freetown for Pernambuco.


Monday, 21st December

H.M. Ships BRIDGEWATER and ARMERIA sailed from Trinidad escorting S.S. DAVID STONE and S.S. BENJAMIN SMITH to Marshall (Liberia).


Saturday, 9th January 43

H.M. Ships BRIDGEWATER and ARMERIA met convoy F.T.T. 6 FFT - Freetown to Trinidad

and ARMERIA having oiled from R.F.A. ORANGE LEAF both ships parted company with the convoy and set course for Marshall.


Saturday, 16th January 43

H.M.S. ARMERIA arrived Freetown having escorted H.M.S. PHOEBE to Trinidad.


Saturday, 23rd January 43

H.M.S. PETUNIA and H.M.S. ARMERIA sailed from Freetown for A/S exercises and on completion to overtake H.M.S. CORINTHIAN. PETUNIA, ARMERIA, and P.615 carried out night exercise on the night of 23rd/24th January. After an A/S P.8 during which PETUNIA fired her hedgehog, exercises were continued with the submarine on the surface until about 0230. Both corvettes fired Star Shell after gaining R.D.F. contact and Snowflakes were used when the submarine was at close range.

February 2nd 43

H.M. Ships CORINTHIA, ARMERIA, and CYCLAMEN sailed from Bathurst for Freetown escorting two merchant ships.


February 4th  43

H.M. Ships CORINTHIAN, ARMERIA, and CYCLAMEN arrived Freetown from Bathurst escorting 2 merchant ships.


February 8th   43

H.M. Ships ARMERIA and HYDRANGEA arrived Takoradi from Freetown escorting two merchant ships.


February 9th 43

H.M.S. ARMERIA sailed from Takoradi for Boma to dock.


February 13th 43

H.M.S. ARMERIA arrived Boma from Takoradi to dock.

H.M.S. ARMERIA sailed from Banana for Takoradi.

7th March 43

H.M. Ships BELLWORT, ARMERIA, and ARRAN with H.M.M.L.s 256 and 290 sailed from Freetown for Takoradi escorting Convoy S.T. 58. Freetown to Sekondi-Takoradi

H.M. Ships VIRGINIA, ARMERIA, CYCLAMEN, and THYME sailed from Freetown to reinforce the anti submarine screen of Admiralty Floating Dock XXIV.


Wednesday, 28th April 43

H.M. Ships VIRGINIA, ARMERIA, CYCLAMEN, THYME, and SNOWDROP with H.M.M.L.s 296, 289, 209, 266, and 287 returned Freetown together H.M. Ships ALCANTARA, MILFORD, AMARANTHUS, TAMARISK, WOODRUFF, MORRIS DANCE, and YESTOR from New Orleans and Trinidad, all escorting Admiralty Floating Dock XXIV being towed by Tugs FRISKY, ZWARTE ZEE, ORIANA, AIMWELL, and CROCODILE in company.
