ASTER arrived at 1655 G.M.T. at Capetown.


Tuesday, 27th January 1942

ASTER departed Capetown at 1448 G.M.T. for Durban by inshore route, speed of advance 12 knots.


Friday, 30th January 1942

ASTER arrived Durban at 1235Z.


Fate: Mined on 6 May 1942 in Courrier Bay, Madagascar at 12-12S, 49-19E. Foundered the following day while under tow.
